I have held the position Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona since fall 2020. I earned my Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of South Florida in 2016. My areas of specialization are biomedical ethics, feminist philosophy, and philosophy of disability. I also completed a graduate certificate in women's and gender studies. Previously, I held the positions Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, McGovern Medical School (2016-2018), Assistant Professor (term) at the University of Louisville, and Visiting Assistant Professor at Skidmore College (2019-2020).
